The patent covering the erectile dysfunction drug includes claims for sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, and vardenafil that are identical to those claims and that are not granted by the patent for Viagra.

AstraZeneca has also filed a motion for summary judgment on the issue of infringement, arguing that the patent is invalid because it has not shown that any generic products or methods of drug delivery are effective.
